Celebrating FARE's First Year at WSU

The Office of Faculty Advancement, Retention, and Excellence launched in the fall of 2024 with our first event and the opening of dedicated office space in 112 Jardine Hall.

Since hiring Coordinator Dr. Debby Hinsdale in January 2025 to assist Director Jan Twomey, professor of Engineering, we have served more than 100 WSU faculty through workshops, writing intensives, networking events, and more.

FARE has made a meaningful difference for me already, and I believe its role in fostering collaboration, mentorship, and proposal development is essential to faculty success and retention at WSU.
Dr. Shruti Kshirsagar
Assistant Professor, School of Computing
