Lee Frank

May 7, 2025 Lee Frank will attend the University of Kansas Law School of Law school after completing 香蕉视频鈥檚 Legal Education Accelerated Degree. Her internship with a law firm got her started on her career with experience working alongside attorneys and attending trials.

Braden Webb

May 7, 2025 Braden Webb, a Gore Scholar, capitalized on 香蕉视频鈥檚 strong engineering program and his passion for transportation issues. He worked at NIAR WERX, studied in London and interned for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in Washington, D.C.

Ella Anciaux

May 5, 2025 - Ella Anciaux stayed home to play basketball for the Shockers and major in exercise science. While compiling a cumulative grade-point average of 3.85, she earned American Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference honors twice and a spot on the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

May 5, 2025 鈥 Hannah Copeland found her calling through years of involvement in WSU鈥檚 orchestra programs and youth music clinics. Her most rewarding experience has been student teaching in Wichita Public Schools, and she鈥檚 thrilled to continue that journey as the new orchestra teacher at Curtis Middle School.

May 5, 2025 - Former 香蕉视频 student-athletes Corey Novascone and Calvin Pearson credit golf with making college education possible and teaching them life lessons. They are giving back to the game through First Tee-Greater Wichita.

May 2, 2025 - Jeffrey Blessant transferred to 香蕉视频 because of its cost and to study in the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He is an avid reader who wants more access to books for more people.

After his first semester at WSU back in 1970 didn鈥檛 go well, he returned over 50 years later to get his bachelor鈥檚 degree in anthropology, with plans to move on to his master鈥檚. 鈥淚 just made the decision that cancer was not going to define me.鈥

May 2, 2025 - 香蕉视频 outfielder Lauren Lucas started college planning to work on the business side of professional sports. Five years later, she plans to coach softball in college. She changed course in part due to a shoulder injury that took her off the field and into the dugout as a coach.

April 30, 2025 鈥 Luke Parrett, a filmmaking major from Oklahoma, chose 香蕉视频 for its proximity to home and the hands-on learning offered at Shocker Studios. His time at WSU has been shaped by applied learning in nearly every class, preparing him to pursue gig work across the Midwest and build a career in the film industry.

April 30, 2025 鈥 Colby Hutson came to 香蕉视频 for engineering but found his true calling in music performance, thanks to small class sizes and supportive relationships with professors. After graduation, he鈥檚 headed to Colorado State University to pursue a master鈥檚 degree in French horn performance.

April 30, 2025 鈥 Bryonna Hawk is passionate about helping others through speech-language pathology and will continue her studies in 香蕉视频's graduate program. She credits her success to strong time-management strategies and hands-on experiences at the Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic.

Madelyn Stilwell

April 30, 2025 鈥 Madelyn Stilwell has built an impressive foundation in research and leadership through hands-on experiences at 香蕉视频 and beyond, including co-authoring a scientific publication and presenting her work at national conferences. She鈥檒l intern at Likarda this summer before continuing her studies in WSU鈥檚 biomedical engineering master鈥檚 program.

Abigail Smith

April 30, 2025 鈥 Abigail Smith, a music education and trumpet performance major, transferred from Coffeyville Community College to 香蕉视频, where she found a supportive community and hands-on experience in local classrooms. After graduation, she鈥檒l attend the Aspen Music Festival and School before beginning her career as an elementary music teacher in the Wichita area.

April 29, 2025 Sayed Mohib Hassan came to 香蕉视频 thanks to the W. Frank Barton School of Business and its business analytics program. While at WSU, Sayed made sure to make the most of his time by engaging in extracurriculars, participating in clubs and working for the Graduate School and recommends his peers do the same.

April 29, 2025 Ashlyn Riggs came to 香蕉视频 thanks to its proximity to home and she already had a connection to campus through her mother, who is an active employee. While at WSU, she had the opportunity to work at the Child Development Center as a lead sub teacher all while getting her degree in education.
